Rabbits: Gentle Hearts, Valiant Spirits

In the absence of any new bunny pics this week, I'll pass along a link to what looks to be a wonderful new book for the bunnyphile. Click on the pic to link to the author's website and ordering info if you're interested.

From a review:

"Anyone who has had the honor of communing with a rabbit—nose to nose, whisker to cheek—will applaud this book. Those unfamiliar with these dear little creatures will enjoy the heartwarming tales of adversity overcome and joy achieved. Educating the public is of paramount importance to the welfare of rabbits, and the author has captured the essence of this far-reaching task. Our rescued rabbits give all who were involved in the creation of this book a “two paws up”!

It sounds like a very good book. The photo on the cover is adorable.

Laura, I've always thought of bunnies as being gentle creatures. In the wild, they have a sweet look and are very vigilant. I would love to get to know them better and I wish I could invite one into my home but the result would be just aweful and you know why... sigh...

Laurie: Yes, it does sound like a good book - now to find it!

Mary: Yes, but I think maybe you've let them into your heart just a bit - thanks!

I would love to have a rabbit, but I'm allergic to them...I sneeze and cough when around them.

For now I must rely on you for my vicarious bunny snuggles. How the heck did I miss that duck-bunny in your side bar? I'm 'quacking' up!:0D
