Summer weekend in review

There were dusky butterflies
and little bunnies I met in the shade,
yellow flowers visited by winged friends,
lacy flowers that needed no further decoration
and black puppies playing in a frog pond for the very first time.

Laura,

You have a gift, not only in your writing, but with your camera. I love seeing what you see through your lens.

Has Luka chomped on a toad yet? I think they all experience it once in their lives :o)

That lacy flower is just so beautiful - I never tire seeing pics of it. And dear Luka! He sure expanded his world with the pond:)

Such pretty pictures... I especially love the Queen Anne's Lace. What is making it pink in the background?

Did Luka discover the bunny? We have so many around and they do excite the dog so! He is getting bigger by the day!

I love to watch pups exploring their home environment. It probably won't be long until Luka is out there swimming with the frogs!

I had the same thought as Ruth--Luka and the bunny. Did they see each other?

A perfect weekend - as all summer weekends should be. (I love the nap time photo of little Luka below)

Labs and water. natural affinity. Ah, yes.
Puppies and kids are so much alike.
Wait 'til you take him to the beach.
