Autumn in our hands

Thanks to everyone who took the time to send pics! We've made a lovely mosaic of fall color, don't you think?

Hand and leaf ID's are as follows (clockwise from top left): Redbud, I think (from the Net), Piracantha berries from Donna who doesn't have much color yet, Maple from Nina, Pin Oak from Mary, Locust from John, Maple from Ruth, Maple leaves (from the Net), Striped Maple from Al (also called the Moosewood Maple or the Goosefoot Maple which I can totally see - thanks Mojoman - I learned a new ID with that name!), Staghorn Sumac from Ruthie J., Larch needles from me, Sourwood from Jayne, and Dogwood from Larry.

Gosh, that's a pretty mosaic. You did a great display, Laura!

Please have a wonderful time in Cape May. I'll be thinking of you and the others all weekend. I wish you lots of laughs and lifers :o)

Have a safe trip.

What a pretty display! What I've been calling "less than wonderful" here, looks more than wonderful when added to everyone else's.

This was fun--lending a "hand"!

This excuse is along the lines of "the cheque is in the mail". We headed to town without my camera. But I will post a pic I took of the tree but too late for entry:)
Your picture is just beautiful.

My rabbit ate my photo...

actually, I forgot my camera USB cord and couldn't get the photo off the camera in time! Dangit.

But it's beautiful just the way it is!

Beautiful collage of fall color.
As I sit here with my Cape May coffee mug, I wistfully recall the colors painted across the landscape during my last few days in Southern NJ. The winters, however, you can keep. ;-)

Good job Laura, that turned out very cool. You must be a very creative person to come up with that concept. I'll second Mary C's comment that it's a picture definitely worth framing!
What's our next assignment?

Lovely. I wish I'd gotten mine done but, sigh, didn't happen. I thought about it a LOT though! :) Maybe I'll still do it and blog it on my own.

Great job -- I hope you "hand" out more assignments soon! :)

Laura: What a nice project! I'm glad I was able to help. It's exciting to think people from all over with shared interests can come together in this electronic world to create something that stimulates the imagination and is so beautiful.
