Cute photo and clever idea! You really shouldn't let him chew your shoes though. The next thing you know he'll be listening to sole music.

Very witty, Laura. And the sweetest(most innocent) pic.

Oh, Laura. You are in for it. Yup, that LOOKS like an innocent face but I've known enough labs to know that he is just about to be baaaaad! Enjoy!

Public enemy #1? Nah.

That picture should go into the encyclopedia under definition of black lab! What a lover.

LOLOLOL... sweet, sweet Luka. :c)

Have you noticed how they never chew both shoes in a pair, but one shoe in six pairs?

so cute.... our youngest pup has the same "look" with head tilt & table scraps mysteriously begin to fall her way.

Awww. So true. No one can resist that soulful look, especially his Mether.

Awwwwww, Luka, you sweetie.

I bet it's pretty hard to stay mad at a puppy that cute.....

Wow what a cute pup. Is that a post you caught me look? When my lab/golden mix was a teenager he chewed everything including the arms off my futon and the shingle siding on the house. I am still so trained that I put everything up above "dog" level at home. I believe that look is worth a couple pairs of shoes and a toy dinosaur or two.

Now that's a "who me?" face if ever I saw one.
Oh, yes, guaranteed to steal hearts!

Larry: If it's not shoes, it's something else!

Jean: Don't be fooled!

;-)

Liza: So... is it normal then, to be so.. enraptured and furious with him at the same time?

;-)

Dave: You wouldn't think so with that face, but...

Jennifer: Want him?

Jayne: Look away!

Mojoman: No.. he's pretty methodical.

;-)

Susan: They learn *that look* pretty quick.

Mary: I was ready to leave him with strangers for most of the weekend...

Delia: Yeah.. he's mostly sweet (when he's sleeping!)

RuthieJ: Oh... you'd be surprised.

Maggie: Hi.. nice to see you. I'm in for it.... I know.

KGMom: He has!

Loved the post. I think Luka is the cutest thing, but looking at the photo you can see the devilish look in his eyes. We had a black lab. Best dog we ever had.
Happy Thanksgiving
PS. Keep an eye on the turkey. If memory serves me correctly, labs love to eat.

Villas Girl: Hey - thanks for stopping by to comment.

If he behaves, maybe Luka will get some Thanksgiving leftovers.

You and Luka immediately popped in my mind when I received my Barnes & Noble email highlighting Anna Quindlen's new book, "Good Dog. Stay."

Zen Birdfeeder: Thanks for the suggestion - I'll add it to my list for Santa!
