Just me rambling about birds, books, bunnies, or whatever!
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Hmmmm. I like myself a nap around 3pm. But, my those flowers are adorable!
(Typo alert: Behtlehem.)We have a bunch of them in the yard, but I've never noticed they close up at mid-day. Shame on me.I do like my after-lunch power nap (not to be confused with some kind of lazy siesta).
another of my favorites, and a beautiful picture.
I can't find them in my New England guide, guess we don't have them. They sure are pretty. Looks like they grow in the grass like bluets.
Rabbit's Guy: Sleeping while commenting can be dangerous!Liza: Yeah... that's the magic hour for me too.Dave: Thanks for spotting that.Lots of people I work with go to their cars for a nap at lunch, but I wouldn't dare... too afraid I wouldn't wake up on time.Bobbie: Yeah, I love 'em too, even though the spread like crazy.Sandy: They do grow like bluets, yes. They're a garden flower, really, and the bulbs find themselves in the most inconvenient places.;-)
That's a chuckle--a flower you can emulate.
Beautiful flowers. I have never seen them before. I prefer a short nap at about 4 PM to keep me going in the evening ;-)
Why can't we import the tradition of mid-day siestas? We import everything else!
A favorite of mine!
