Random bluet damselfly on random fern I'm too lazy to ID...
Random famous-author-type met in Bloomingdale Bog. I think he's Allen Barlow of NJ Odes.com.

Love the random damselfly... almost as much as Allen's len. Yep, pure lens envy... but knowing how heavy that set-up is, maybe not. ;c)
I have the same BioQuip net as your random encounter. I don't have the 20 lb. lens, however.
Hee hee....I didn't know that Odopterists actually used those big nets!
And just how much would a lens like the one he is packing really cost? Sheesh!
And to think that I met him in Bloomingdale Bog .... Dr. Seuss, sort of!!
I have that net too! Looks like a Variable Dancer AKA Violet Dancer - Argia fumipennis violacea. It's the only purple damsel around the northeast.
Jayne: Yeah.. would have to break the bank for it, probably.
Dr. Know: I thought it was a butterflynet at first.
Susan: ;-)
Patrick: Is it purple, yeah?
