Aren't dogs funny. Ours like to "play" with anything that might come across them in our backyard; southern toads, rat snakes, cicadas, moles, etc... Unfortunately, some of these don't survive being "played" with.
I heard these people at the grocery store talking about how many hummers they had at their feeders, so I asked how they attracted so many. Their secret: they have THIRTY FEEDERS. 30! But they say they have a crowd of over 200 hummers at any given time! I can't even imagine the maintenance time (not to mention the cost of the sugar), but the idea of 200 hummers does kinda pique my interest....

Laura: Those birds better watch out.

Oh, Luka--enjoy your puppy-dom. For when you are an old dog, your wonderful owner will recall fondly your puppiness!
Good one. I find one of my neighbor's cats curled up under the feeder quite often.
I love his little cute paw on the sill.

Delia: I'd swear people like that must be lying if I hadn't seen photos! I don't know what they put in their feeders to attract so many!
