Goosethaw

A few warmish days here had the skunk cabbage showing signs of life.

I've heard that spring moves up the East coast about 20 miles a day. Think so?

Looks like little gnomes coming to life in the undergrowth. Cool shot (I like the bit of ice in the corner).

Ain't no skunk cabbage, real skunks, spring cabbage or anything else poking up around here! Always used to go looking for skunk cabbage in the Adirondack woods when I was a kid. Neat.

My friend just outside Boston posted skunk cabbage, too, but what she found was only tiny.

So cool to see skunk cabbage spouting again! I've been hearing a few birds signing in the mornings. Spring is on the way!!
