So Beth in NYC came for a visit this past weekend. She'd wanted a break from "the big city" and, so, came to Atlanta.

This is closer to "city-living" than I've ever known, so her idea made me chuckle, just a little. I'd last about five minutes living in Manhattan. Anyway, I was happy to show her a couple favorite pieces of home...

The weekend went too fast, but I was so glad to see her friendly face here.

I think the fire ants need more explaining.

Ouch on the fire ant bites. Been there. Ouch!
Fire Ants are becoming a sort of Southern ritual. Laura got her first bites a few weeks ago in a different cemetery across town. So it only seemed fair to give them a taste of Beth too. - Jay
Being bitten by fire ants doesn't sound like my idea of a good time but I'll never know for sure until I've experienced them first hand. Love the sunset view!
