Surprise yourself

May your coming year be
filled with magic and
dreams and good
madness. I hope you read
some fine books and kiss
someone who thinks
you're wonderful, and
don't forget to make some
art - write or draw or build
or sing or live as only you
can. And I hope,
somewhere in the next
year, you surprise
yourself.

-Neil Gaiman

Happy New Year!

So Neil Gaiman is a friend of Bill and Sharon Stitler in Minneapolis who have the Disapproving Rabbits book and web site which got us into the rabbit crazies in the first place and that is why I am reading your blog ... and I guess that proves something which I lost in there somewhere! Happy New Year.

And this quote is one reason I love NG. (His novels aren't bad, either. *lol*)

One of our store volunteers is the letterer for Gaiman's Sandman series...

Ahh, connections, Rabbit's Guy.

Happy New Year!!

Love this quote. Can't believe this year is the first time I've seen it. Hoping you have a New Year filled with all things that bring you so much joy, Laura! xo
