The camera's virtue

"The virtue of the camera is not the power it has to transform the photographer into an artist, but the impulse it gives him to keep on looking."

Here in maritime Canada, Trailing Arbutus is known as Mayflowers. They are one of our earliest blooming wildflowers. Every gentleman worth his salt has a secret location he knows where the mayflowers bloom. In spring he will go there and pick a bunch and bring them to his sweetheart. The scent of mayflowers in the Spring is the scent of love.

Forest Green: I so hope you have one of those secret locations and bring Mayflowers to your love!

(I'd read somewhere about that custom!)

Thank you for the smile today.
