This photo of Cricket shows a pose that is very familiar to bunny owners. When a bunny is feeling particularly content and safe they will stretch all the way out with their feet behind them. A bunny can't get away quickly when they're in this position; in fact my big guys scrabble and slide around on the floor for a bit before they manage to get upright. Bunny people call this "happy feet" and think of it as the ultimate form of bunny relaxation.

Peanut especially loves that pose. Way too adorable.
What a sweet pic!
(at least someone has happy feet!)
Your bunnies must bring you so much joy. As the commercial says, "Life is better with animals".
Tidbit does a lot of that. She's so trusting that I sometimes wonder if she's maybe not all that bright.
Thanks for the pic!
I love that picture of the happy feet! Also wanted to tell you I enjoy reading your blog. While I don't have pet bunnies, I do have a wild one that lives under the porch. It was just a baby a few weeks ago - growing fast! Comes to the window every morning for a handout. I love bunnies!
That is the cutest pic, Laura. What a delightful pose of contentment. I've never seen a bunny quite as relaxed as that.
I just love your bunnies. That's why I bookmarked your site. To see what you guys were up to. Had a Bunny once a long time ago.
His name was fluffy Jo
One of these days I'll get a pic of Boomer and Cricket both flopped out like that! I love to take pics of them - but wonder if they don't all look the same to someone who doesn't *love* them like I do.
silverlight: Thanks for stopping by - glad you found me! More bunny pics to come.
This is soooooooo precious!
