Planes, trains and automobiles

Susan took this snarky pic of me last night during the last couple moments of the New River Birding and Nature Festival and I wondered where I'd find a use for it.

;-)

She, apparently, had a leisurely drive home from West Virginia and has
found time to blog some about our week there. And insists that we all do the same. Tonight.

Laura thumbs her nose at Susan again.

My trip home involved two car rides, three airports, one really slow shuttle bus and a couple too many hours in the Cincinnati airport.

All's well that ends well, but I'm exhausted after thirteen plus hours getting here and anything more than a tired smile will have to wait until tomorrow.

Lie in bed and think of all the great, fun things you want to blog about.

Glad you are home safely. Do you miss me traipsing thru your bedroom at night on my way to the bathroom?

You win the prize for worst commute, but thanks for confirming that my decision to drive rather than fly wasn't totally crazy.

Glad to see the blog flock button is clearly visible.

It was good to sleep in my own bed last night. My luggage finally showed up this morning...

I adore that pic of you.

And I miss you already.

Come on people! Get off your butts and blog! You're acting like you're tired or something!

Love that picture of you! I wouldn't blog after a a trip like you had. Relax and give yourself a day or so girl! Loved meeting you at New River! What a fun trip.

Driving is always better. And I say that as someone who still has 230,000 frequent flier miles (down from 870,000+).

I dislike flying almost as much as I dislike work.

See any birds?
