Skywatch Friday: Somewhere in W. Va.

I'm not sure where exactly I was in West Virginia, but it was a week ago today at a place called Hawk's Nest and my life Yellow-Throated Warbler was singing while I took this pic.

Beautiful sky, I like the way you shot it between the trees. West Virginia is a scenic place to visit.

A gorgeous photo. From reading the various accounts, I thought it rained all week. This photo shows otherwise.

A great photo and another check on your life list, a great twofer.

There must have been a break in the clouds, Laura, but I do recall the sun shining when you arrived. Or, maybe the sun was you.

That is a truly beautiful sky, no matter where you were.

It is pretty! Isn't it odd how memories are linked by the senses?

Hey! That sky is blue! The sky isn't BLUE in WV!

*wishing you and I were sitting on the deck again at Smokey's on the Gorge, sipping beer.*

"Did you Photoshop that sky?" she said, suspiciously. "It was always gray wherever I was."

I love how the trees help frame the photo! ~Maria
