Another skeeter hawk

This one probably teneral, or newly-emerged.

*Teneral* is Laura's big word for the day.

And it's a good word. I am playing Scrabble on Facebook right now with my brother. I will try to remember "teneral" to use--assuming I have the letters, of course.

About the mushroom recipe ...

Wash well, slice about 1/4 inch thick. Dice into 2" squares. Spread on cookie sheet and sprinkle liberally with garlic salt.

Brown in 255 degree oven for about 17 or 18 minutes. Bast every 2 or 3 minutes with wine sauce* (See previous post for sauce recipe.)

Remove and cool.

Wrap several squares in warm soft tortillas and place the little "burritos" on individual serving plates garnished with fresh mango slasa and sprigs of new garden parsley and spiced julienned carrots.

Serve with huge glasses of hearty red wine ... I dare you.

(I don't know - seems sort of Michigany to me!!!)

Funny - I was just thinking of the word "teneral" which I only learned a while back myself. I was thinking of how I could use it in everyday conversation. Perhaps of a slackard student... "he is but a teneral."

My head hurts. I had to look that word up on dictionary.com. Thanks Laura. I didn't think that blogging was gonna turn edumacational.
