Mortal injury may result

Of all the crazy places I've been birding... sewerage treatment facilities, nuclear power plants, landfills... this takes the cake, I think.

;-)

And mostly we were looking for wildflowers.

(And not ever in the target range, at least I don't think so!)

I wouldn't do the Lifer Wiggle there. They might think you are some succulent crane to shoot.

Did you find any shooting stars??
I just had to ask that. It does look like a good place to find wildflowers.

Well, there was that time at Whitesbog where we wound up on the military base, and people were actually shooting, albeit not at us ...
